When I got my real estate license in 2020 at just 18 years old, I was excited to start my career. But the reality hit hard. I didn’t know much about the homebuying process, and without a solid branding or marketing strategy, I struggled to get clients. It was discouraging, and honestly, I walked away from real estate for about a year.

But one day, I decided to give it another shot. I realized I couldn’t rely on luck or hope—I needed to become an expert.

So over the last couple of years, I went on a journey to learn everything I could about real estate—how the homebuying process works, what makes agents successful, and how to market myself as an expert. I watched countless videos and read tons of articles, books and blogs.

Along the way, two big truths stood out to me:

• Success in real estate isn’t taught in pre-licensing courses.
• I loved the strategic side of branding, marketing, and education more than I loved showing homes.

That’s when I knew it was time to pivot.
